Sanyo Chemical's "METHACRYLATE" products are aminoalkyl methacrylate derivative monomers with double bonds and tertiary amino or quaternary ammonium groups in the molecule. By polymerization alone or copolymerization with other vinyl monomers, polymers with water solubility, hydrophilicity, antistatic properties, conductivity, adsorption and reactivity with anionic compounds, etc. can be obtained.

The "METHACRYLATE" products of aminoalkyl methacrylate derivative monomers can all be polymerized alone or copolymerized with other vinyl monomers. Polymerization can be easily initiated by ordinary azo or peroxide radical initiators, as well as by ultraviolet light or heat.

The "METHACRYLATE" products of aminoalkyl methacrylate derivative monomers have double bonds and cationic groups in the molecule, and are used in applications where the following properties are imparted to the resulting polymer by cationic groups, either by polymerization alone or by copolymerization with other vinyl monomers.
-Addition of hydrophilic properties (control of hydrophilicity and lipophilicity, water solubility)
-Reactivity and adsorption of anionic compounds (acidic dyes, etc.)
-Provides cohesion to negative colloids (sewage sludge, cellulose, etc.)
-Addition of electrical properties such as antistatic and conductive properties
Polymer flocculant (polymerization of cationic monomers)
Polymer membranes for electrodialysis and reverse osmosis, ion exchange resins, etc. (three-dimensional cross-linked cationic monomers)
Surface preparation materials for slate, concrete, mortar, and other surfaces for the exterior and interior of houses and other structures
Conditioning agents for hair care products, etc.
Medical application sustained-release formulations, medical tubing, etc.
Wastewater treatment agent (graft polymerization of cationic monomers and cellulose such as pulp)
Paper chemicals (polymerized cationic monomers) such as paper strength enhancers, water filtration and yield improvers during papermaking.
The user is responsible for determining the suitability and safety of the product for each application.
