RSPO Certification for a Better Society

We have implemented certification labeling on 11 products, mainly cosmetic ingredients.

Obtained RSPO certification for the Mass Balance method

A supply chain model in which certified and non-certified palm oil may be mixed physically or administratively during manufacturing and distribution, or at other stages in the supply chain, provided that the overall site quantities are controlled.

Sustainable palm oil initiatives

Palm oil, obtained from the flesh of the oil palm, is the most widely produced and used vegetable oil in the world. However, serious problems have been pointed out, such as environmental destruction and human rights violations due to poor working conditions on plantations in countries where large-scale oil palm plantations have been developed.

Making palm oil gentle for the future.

RSPO certification is an international certification system established to address these issues and promote sustainable palm oil production and use, taking biodiversity and forest conservation into consideration. Sanyo Chemical group will continue to promote sustainable raw material procurement efforts and contribute to the realization of a sustainable society.
